How to Turn Your Android Phone into a Hacking Machine (Free 16GB RAM and 4 CPU Cloud PC)

Introduction

Imagine sitting in a coffee shop or on a college bus. You take out your phone, open a browser, and suddenly you have a full Kali Linux Desktop running with 16GB RAM and 1Gbps Speed.

You can run Nmap scans, use Burp Suite, or hunt for bugs—all from your 6-inch mobile screen.

Previously: In my previous guide, we built a Free Cloud Lab using GitHub Codespaces. Today, I will show you how to connect that powerful lab to your Android or iOS device so you can hack on the go.

Step 1: The Secret "Mobile Link"

You don't need to install any heavy apps like Termux or UserLAnd. We will use the NoVNC technology we already set up.

  1. Open Chrome or Safari on your Phone.
  2. Log in to your GitHub Account.
  3. Go to your Kali-Cloud-Lab repository.
  4. Click the green Code button > Codespaces > Open.

Your terminal will load on your phone. But wait, it looks small, right? Let's fix that.

Step 2: Activating "Desktop Mode"

To get the full Graphical Interface (GUI) on mobile:

  1. In your mobile browser, make sure you are in the Ports tab of your Codespace.
  2. Find Port 6080 (The VNC Port).
  3. Tap the Globe Icon (🌐).

⚠️ Important:

Add /vnc.html to the end of the URL in the address bar.

Example: https://your-codespace-name-6080.app.github.dev/vnc.html

  • Tap Connect.
  • Enter Password: vscode (or whatever you set).

BOOM! You now have a full Kali Linux Desktop on your phone.

Step 3: Optimizing for Touch Screen

The desktop might be too big for your screen. Let's resize it to fit a mobile display.

  1. Open the Terminal inside your phone's Kali Desktop.
  2. Run this command to change resolution to fit mobile:
# Set resolution to Mobile HD (720x1280)
xrandr -s 720x1280
Pro-Tip: Connect a USB-OTG Keyboard to your phone. Now you can type commands as fast as a laptop user!

Step 4: Practical Project - "Find Usernames" (OSINT)

Let's do a real hacking task to test our mobile setup. We will use a tool called Sherlock to track a username across the internet.

1. Install Sherlock (One-Time Setup)

Copy-paste this into your mobile terminal:

# Clone the tool
git clone https://github.com/sherlock-project/sherlock.git

# Go into the folder
cd sherlock

# Install requirements
python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt

2. Run the Scan

Let's say you want to find a user named tomcat123 across the internet.

python3 sherlock.py tomcat123

Result: You will see green text popping up showing their Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Telegram accounts. You just performed an OSINT investigation from a bus!

Conclusion

You no longer need a heavy laptop to learn hacking. With GitHub Codespaces + Your Phone, you have a portable, 8GB RAM hacking station in your pocket.
